American Discovery Trail

The American Discovery Trail is the first coast to coast, non-motorized trail in the country. The ADT segment in Ohio is 524 miles long, out of 6,800+ miles, and follows the Buckeye Trail for most of its route through Ohio from Chesterhill to Eden Park in Cincinnati.

Location: The trail traverses Wayne National Forest on some of its 200 miles of trails passing Lake Tecumseh south of the town of Shawnee.
